At Saint Martha’s House, we believe that caring for the elderly goes beyond daily support—it includes nurturing their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This week, we were honored to welcome the Susanna of Faqou’a Association, who organized a valuable health awareness workshop for our ladies.
A Focus on Alzheimer’s Disease & Natural Joint Treatments
The workshop was led by Jihan Jackaman, the visiting lecturer from the Susanna of Faqou’a Association. With her deep knowledge and warm approach, she created a comfortable atmosphere that encouraged learning and participation.
Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease
Ms. Jackaman delivered an insightful and compassionate presentation on Alzheimer’s disease—its early signs, progression, and the importance of early detection. Her clear explanations helped our elderly participants and staff better recognize symptoms and understand how to support affected individuals with dignity and patience.
Natural Oils for Joint Pain Relief
Another highlight of the session was a practical demonstration on using natural oils for joint pain treatment. Ms. Jackaman introduced safe, natural methods to relieve joint discomfort—an issue many of our ladies face every day. The hands-on guidance was both educational and uplifting.
A Visit Full of Warmth and Benefit
The atmosphere at Saint Martha’s House was filled with positivity, engagement, and gratitude. The workshop provided valuable knowledge, strengthened health awareness, and brought comfort to our community.
Our Appreciation
We extend our sincere thanks to the Susanna of Faqou’a Association for their cooperation and support, and to Jihan Jackaman for her dedication, expertise, and generous spirit. Their contribution has made a meaningful impact on the well-being of our elderly.
